FY2026 Miyazaki Prefecture Industrial DX Promotion Subsidy (Adoption Type)

1) Overview: This subsidy supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Miyazaki Prefecture in introducing commercially available digital technologies (e.g., cloud systems for payroll/inventory/attendance, server-to-cloud migration, API integration with core systems, AI-OCR and RPA for document workflow automation, BI tools for sales management) as the first step toward DX, thereby promoting prefectural industry digitization. 2) Eligible Applicants: SMEs and small businesses headquartered or with their principal office in Miyazaki Prefecture (or certified for corporate location), planning to continue local business. Requirements: no prefectural tax arrears; no pending corporate reorganization/civil rehabilitation/bankruptcy; implementing special collection of individual resident tax for Miyazaki-resident employees; no organized crime affiliation; not operating adult entertainment. Excluded: subsidiaries of large enterprises and SMEs whose average taxable income over the past three years exceeds 1.5 billion yen. 3) Eligible Expenses/Content: Honoraria, software usage fees (subscriptions prorated to subsidy period), ICT equipment usage fees, software purchase/development, ICT equipment purchase, construction, outsourcing. Ineligible: general-purpose office PCs/tablets/smartphones/MFPs, public taxes, payments to related parties or internal transactions. Required by project end: SECURITY ACTION two-star declaration and a KPI of ≥12.5% reduction in work hours. 4) Subsidy Rate, Cap, Schedule, Application Points: Rate up to 1/2 of eligible expenses (tax-exclusive); cap 2.5M yen, floor 1M yen per company. Period: Apr 24 – Jun 12, 2026; project must complete (incl. payment) by Jan 31, 2027. Application is exclusively via the Jgrants e-system requiring gBizID Prime (2–3 weeks to obtain). Scored on 7 criteria (100 pts); below 60% rejected. Partnership Building Declaration adds 2 bonus points.
