FY2026 Mie Prefecture Grant for Children’s Learning and Experience Events

1. This Mie grant supports new local events that give children learning and hands-on experiences. 2. Applicants are private organizations or companies hosting the event. They must operate in Mie or have an office or store there, cooperate with local partners, have no tax arrears, and satisfy political, religious and anti-social exclusions. 3. Projects must be new municipal-scale events in Mie, involve multiple organizations or companies, offer at least five children’s experience menus, and secure transit, parking or other broad access. Eligible costs include personnel, consumables, food, honoraria, travel, equipment, printing, shipping, venue use and outsourcing. 4. First-year projects are capped at JPY 1,000,000. Year two is capped at JPY 666,000 at two-thirds, and year three at JPY 500,000 at one-half. Apply by email by 5:00 p.m. on June 11, 2026, confirm receipt by phone, hold the event after the grant decision, finish by January 31, 2027, and report by February 26, 2027.
