FY2026 Masaki Town Scholarship Loan Proxy Repayment System Adoption Incentive
Summary
1) Overview: This incentive grants ¥300,000 to Masaki Town SMEs that newly introduce JASSO scholarship proxy repayment systems, repaying employees' scholarships directly to JASSO. Aimed at easing financial burden on young workers with scholarship debt and supporting SME talent retention. 2) Eligible Applicants: Masaki Town SMEs (HQ in town), sole proprietors (HQ or residence in town), or non-corporate legal persons (main office in town) that have applied to JASSO for proxy repayment. Requirements: define the system in work rules/wage regulations on/after April 1, 2026 and notify employees; have at least one employment-insured employee; intend to hire insured employees within 5 years or have at least one eligible employee; continue the system at least 5 years from grant; agree to public disclosure; include the system in recruitment ads; no labor law violations; no delinquent taxes; not adult entertainment; no organized crime ties; not political/religious organization. 3) Subsidy Amount: This is a flat grant, not expense reimbursement. ¥300,000 per business. Both proxy-only and combined-type (proxy + allowance) support methods qualify. Application includes system overview details: introduction date, support method, public disclosure methods (company website, job postings), employee support details (target, requirements, content, duration), eligible employee count. 4) Schedule and Application: Flat amount ¥300,000. Application deadline: March 5, 2027. Required documents: application/payment request form (Form 1), corporate registration or tax return, employment insurance verification, proxy repayment system adoption documentation, employee notification proof, public disclosure proof, tax compliance consent (Form 2), pledge/consent (Form 3). After town review and grant decision, payment transferred to designated account. Records must be kept 5 years from April 1, 2027.
