FY2026 Iwate Attractive Workplace Promotion Subsidy

1) Overview: Iwate's FY2026 Attractive Workplace Subsidy helps SMEs improve work environments for youth/women. Must implement 2+ categories incl. one required: shorter hours, child-rearing, caregiving, or employee engagement. 2) Eligible: SMEs (incl. NPOs, welfare corps) HQ in Iwate, <=100 regular employees, 'Iwate Work Style Reform' participant, with Employer Action Plan filed/planned, hires/conversions in past 3 FY or planned within 1 year, no prefectural tax arrears, not adult-entertainment. Sole proprietors, JVs, past recipients NOT eligible. 3) Eligible expenses (tax-excl): professional fees, consulting, training, qualification allowances, equipment >=JPY 30,000/item, renovation. Excluded: rental, maintenance, line charges, executive-only items, pre-decision purchases. 4) Rate/cap/schedule: 1/2 of eligible expenses; cap JPY 1.0M (JPY 1.25M if 3+ categories); professional fees max JPY 50k/item & JPY 100k/applicant. Briefings May 29 & June 9 2026; deadline June 16 2026 17:00; screening mid-July; decision early Aug; completion by 30 days post-completion or Mar 12 2027 (earlier). Post-payment.
