1) Overview: Hasami Town's general-purpose management strengthening subsidy supports SMEs and small-scale operators' creative challenge initiatives, covering digital adoption, new product/service development, design enhancement, industrial tourism/education, recycling, and exhibition participation. Provides up to ¥300,000 to a wide range of innovation initiatives by local businesses. 2) Eligible Applicants: Operators with business location in Hasami Town meeting all of: (1) SME per SME Basic Law Art. 2-1 or small-scale (incl. sole proprietors); (2) operating as of Jan 1 previous year, with continuation intent; (3) 5+ years from founding with stable existing business; (4) all town taxes paid; (5) no organized crime ties; (6) not socially inappropriate. EXCLUDED: town-invested corporations, religious corporations. 3) Eligible Project Categories: 7 types: (1) Digital/high-performance equipment introduction; (2) New product/service development; (3) Design/artistry enhancement; (4) Industrial tourism/education; (5) Recycling appeal enhancement; (6) Exhibition participation; (7) Other approved. Eligible expenses: equipment/machinery (non-general-purpose), systems, advertising, leases, building renovation, commission/outsourcing, other. EXCLUDED: businesses already approved for National SME Sustainability Subsidy, common business operations. 4) Subsidy Rate, Cap and Schedule: 1/2 rate, max ¥300,000 per business (rounded down to ¥1,000). One per business. Implementation: from grant decision to fiscal year end (March 31). Ordinance effective May 28, 2025. Required documents: application form (Form 1), budget (Form 2), quotes, business activity verification (tax returns), pledge. Submit via window, mail, or email. Performance report due by March 31.
