FY2026 Fukuoka Lodging Operator Productivity Improvement Subsidy (1st Round)

①Overview: FY2026 Fukuoka Lodging Productivity Subsidy is funded by the prefectural lodging tax and supports SME lodging operators (outside Kitakyushu and Fukuoka cities) that have received support from the Fukuoka SME DX Promotion Center, subsidizing productivity-improvement initiatives and capital investment for universal tourism. ②Eligible applicants: SMEs that hold a lodging-facility business license / notification within Fukuoka Prefecture (excluding Kitakyushu and Fukuoka cities). Applicants must have high motivation for business-process efficiency/labor saving, profitability improvement, or universal-tourism facility improvement, and must actively engage with the SME DX Promotion Center for advisor support. Organized-crime affiliates and prefectural-tax delinquents are excluded. ③Eligible expenses & benefit content: The eligible project must satisfy all of: (1) application for support from the Center and joint identification/analysis of productivity issues; (2) a DX/productivity-improvement support plan prepared by the Center advisor or a plan recognized by the Center director; (3) a productivity-improvement or universal-design project conducted at lodging facilities within Fukuoka Prefecture (excluding designated cities). Examples: lodging-reservation systems, attendance-management systems, thermal-insulation roof coatings, room renovations, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, walkway step elimination, handrail installation, care bed purchases. ④Rate, ceiling, schedule, application pointers: General Track 1/2 of eligible expenses up to JPY 3,000,000; Universal-Tourism Track 1/2 of eligible expenses up to JPY 5,000,000. Deadlines: (1) Center support-application submission 2026-05-27 12:00; (2) subsidy application submission 2026-07-08 12:00 (mail-in or email).
