FY2026 Fukuoka City New Business Establishment Promotion Subsidy

1) Overview: Fukuoka City subsidy supports new business establishments by paying the remaining half of registration license tax after half-reduction through national Specific Founding Support Project. Provides ¥75,000 (joint-stock) or ¥30,000 (limited liability), making registration license tax effectively zero (minimum-tax cases). 2) Eligible Applicants: All of: (1) Not currently operating, OR sole proprietor within 5 years of opening; (2) On/after April 1, 2026, newly establishing company with Fukuoka City Specific Founding Support certificate for half-reduction; (3) HQ in Fukuoka City; (4) Not in management of other company; (5) Not organized crime; (6) No municipal tax delinquency; (7) Apply by registration day. Pre-registration application mandatory. 3) Subsidy Content: Flat subsidy: ¥75,000 (joint-stock) or ¥30,000 (limited liability). Based on national Specific Founding Support Project (1-month learning on management, finance, sales, HR). 4) Subsidy Amount and Schedule: Flat ¥75,000/¥30,000. Application period: April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027 (first-come). Pre-registration documents: application/consent (Form 1), reference roster (Form 2). Post-registration: business implementation report (Form 6), tax payment proof. Implementation report due 60 days from registration or March 31, 2027.
