FY2026 Fukui UI-Turn (Migration-back / Inbound) Startup Subsidy

①Overview: Fukui UI-Turn Startup Subsidy provides funding (within the limit) for initial-startup expenses of those who migrate (UI-turn) from outside Fukui Prefecture and start a business addressing regional social challenges in Fukui. ②Eligible applicants: Person who satisfies ALL: (a) move resident registration to Fukui between previous-year April 1 and project completion date, with intent to reside ≥5 years; (b) lived outside Fukui continuously ≥5 years immediately before; (c) start within Fukui (Apr 1 to project completion) a business meeting all of: ① in social-business field (vacant-home use, child-rearing support, retail-vulnerable measures, prefectural-product utilization, health-lifespan extension, elderly/disabled life support, education/talent development, environment, regional revitalization, town-making, regional commerce trading etc.), ② not against public order/morality, ③ not adult-entertainment, ④ uses digital tech to improve founder productivity/lost-opportunity reduction/customer convenience; and become representative (large enterprises and deemed-large excluded); (d) no compliance issues; (e) applicant/officers have no organized-crime affiliation. "Founding" = sole-proprietor opening or company-establishment (kabushiki/godo/gomei/goshi/cooperative/NPO). ③Eligible expenses & benefit content: (1) Business-base opening (lease, renovation, equipment under JPY 500K; vehicle and real-estate construction excluded); (2) Product development (outsourcing, not full project outsource); (3) Channel development (outsourcing, HP creation). Only expenses paid within the subsidy period. ④Rate, ceiling, schedule, application pointers: 2/3 rate, JPY 1,000,000 cap. Excluded: items <JPY 100K, miscellaneous/management/maintenance/unclear-detail costs, deposits/insurance/taxes, food/entertainment, JPO fees, direct-sales-driving costs (excepting HP product descriptions/prices/order method), real-estate purchase/construction/land-related works, franchise fees/deposits, other socially inappropriate uses.
