FY2026 Aichi Prefecture Small Business Management Innovation Support Subsidy
Summary
Aichi Prefecture subsidy for small business operators with a Governor-approved Management Innovation Plan (under SME Business Enhancement Act art. 14(1)). Funds new-product / new-tech development and sales-channel expansion under the plan, plus 4 free expert dispatches per year (ban-so walk-alongside support) via the local Chamber/Society of Commerce & Industry. Administered by the Aichi Federation of Societies of Commerce & Industry. Eligibility: head office/main place of business in Aichi; valid Innovation Plan in its implementation period; no prefectural/corporate/consumption-tax arrears; no pending lawsuits or compliance issues; not subject to anti-social exclusion. Small business = up to 5 regular employees for commerce/service (excl. lodging & amusement), up to 20 for lodging/amusement/manufacturing/others. Medical, religious, school, general associations/foundations, NPOs, social-welfare corporations and pre-launch founders are excluded. One award per Innovation Plan. Eligible expenses (between grant decision and 15 Dec 2026, paid by bank transfer): machinery/tooling, supplies, rental, prototyping, testing & analysis, trade-show, documents, postage, research, advertising, commissioning, outsourced processing. Commissioning + outsourced processing capped at 50%; projects of only those are ineligible. PCs/smartphones, officer pay, rent, consumption tax, real estate, vehicles, SEO/MEO and PPC ads excluded. Subsidy rate 2/3; ceiling JPY 1,000,000; reimbursement after on-site inspection. Mail-only applications (postmark on deadline OK) from 30 Apr to 17:00 on 19 Jun 2026. Required: Business Support Plan (Form 1-4) issued by the local Chamber/Society; Forms 1-1/1-2/1-3; copy of approved Innovation Plan + schedules 1-4; 2 most recent financial statements; registry certificate; tax-clearance certificates; (sole proprietors) residence-card excerpt. Evaluation: innovativeness, concreteness, feasibility, ban-so need, effect; bonus for Partnership Building Declaration and Aichi Yasumikata Kaikaku. Decisions late Jul 2026; payment around Feb 2027.
