FY2026 AI/IoT-Enabled New Product and Service Development Support Subsidy
Summary
1. Program overview This TEQS subsidy supports SMEs developing new products or services that use both AI and IoT. It aims to help projects create value, solve social issues, and address labor shortages through advanced technologies. 2. Eligible applicants Eligible applicants are SMEs or similar entities developing new products or services with AI . They must have an Osaka City office, or be a consortium led by an SME with an Osaka City office. 3. Eligible projects and costs Projects must use AI and IoT, aim for early commercialization. Eligible costs include machinery and tools, outsourcing, materials, travel, honoraria, usage fees, and transportation. 4. Amount, schedule, and review points The maximum grant is JPY 5,000,000 at a one-half rate, with about five awards. Applications run April 15 to June 24, 2026. Review covers AI/IoT novelty, profitability, feasibility, and plan adequacy.
