FY2025 (Second Round) Ehime Prefecture Emergency Support Grant for Special High-Voltage Electricity Price Increases
Summary
This Ehime Prefecture grant is emergency support for SMEs and sole proprietors affected by special high-voltage electricity price increases. It covers electricity used in January, February, and March 2026, and the prefecture publishes the rules, guidelines, forms, examples, checklist, and SME definition materials. Eligible applicants are businesses with sites in Ehime Prefecture that receive special high-voltage electricity under their own contract, excluding public and power generation facilities. SMEs in shopping malls or industrial parks may also qualify when a facility operator or cooperative contracts for special high-voltage power and allocates electricity costs to tenants. The grant is calculated from monthly special high-voltage electricity usage. January and February 2026 usage is supported at JPY 2.3 per kWh, and March 2026 usage at JPY 0.8 per kWh. Amounts under JPY 100 are rounded down monthly; low-voltage and high-voltage usage is excluded. The cap is per business: JPY 2.3 million for January, JPY 2.3 million for February, and JPY 800,000 for March. The public-display maximum for a three-month application is JPY 5.4 million, while actual awards vary by kWh. Applications are accepted from February 2 to June 30, 2026.
