FY2025 Miyagi Logistics Operator Management Strengthening Subsidy (2nd Round)
Summary
①Overview: FY2025 Miyagi Logistics Strengthening Subsidy (2nd Round) supports management-base strengthening by Miyagi-based logistics operators facing tough conditions due to rising energy, goods and personnel costs, in order to maintain logistics functions essential to the prefecture's economic development. Funded by the national price-hike response grant. ②Eligible applicants: SME freight-transport operators, warehouse operators, and shippers — restricted in the 2nd round to those not granted in the 1st round. Transport operators must have a Miyagi head office or branch and operate general/specified/light cargo transport (excluding hearse-only). Warehouse operators must have a Miyagi warehouse registered with the Tohoku Transport Bureau (excluding trunk-room-only). Shippers must have a Miyagi office and act as sender, receiver, or prime contractor. ③Eligible expenses & benefit content: Eligible projects: (1) driver recruitment/retention/diversity initiatives by transport operators; (2) transport efficiency, productivity improvement, and energy saving by transport operators; (3) waiting-time reduction, cargo-handling efficiency, and joint distribution by warehouse/shipper operators. Eligible expense categories include honoraria, travel, outsourcing, lease, training, exhibition, construction, system/equipment, consumables, vehicle purchase, PR. NOT eligible: general-purpose items, office stationery, running costs, excessive stockpile, fuel oil. ④Rate, ceiling, schedule, application pointers: Rate 1/2; ceiling JPY 3,000,000 per application. Implementation period through 2027-02-15. Compatible with non-national subsidies if total subsidies don't exceed eligible expenses. Applicants must consent (via written pledge) to sharing of application and report documents with municipal authorities and the Miyagi Truck Association.
