Summary

①Overview: Sabae City supports the market-expansion activities of city-based businesses by subsidizing a portion of expenses for participating in trade shows and exhibitions. Both first-time and repeat exhibitors (up to 5 times for the same show) are eligible, supporting continuous sales development efforts. Applications follow the Sabae City Subsidy Regulations Article 4. ②Eligible Applicants: Businesses with a place of business in Sabae City. Corporations must submit articles of incorporation, organizations must submit their bylaws or commercial registration certificate, and all applicants must submit a tax payment certificate showing no overdue municipal taxes. Applicants who have previously received Sabae subsidies for trade-show participation must attach a supplementary form listing all past exhibitions (date and name). ③Eligible Expenses & Content: Eligible expenses include booth/participation fees (出展料), communication and transportation, translation/transcription fees, outsourcing fees, and rental/lease fees. The 'market expansion' (販路拡大) business type is the eligible subsidy category, with the exhibition name, dates, and venue clearly specified in the business plan. After project completion, applicants submit Form 10 (achievement report), Form 11 (project settlement), Form 12 (income-expense statement), along with payment evidence, full-view exhibition photos, and product display photos. Plan changes exceeding 20% require Form 5 (change approval), Form 6 (revised business plan), Form 7 (revised budget). Termination requires Form 9. ④Subsidy Rate, Cap, Schedule, and Application Tips: Subsidy rate is 1/2 of eligible expenses; cap is ¥500,000 per business (rounded down to the nearest ¥1,000). For repeat exhibitors, the cap is ¥400,000; the same exhibition is eligible up to 5 times only. Required documents: Form 1 (application), Form 2 (business plan), Form 3 (budget), articles of incorporation / registration certificate (corporations) or bylaws (organizations), tax payment certificate, exhibition details, cost estimates. Repeat applicants must also include the supplementary form showing prior subsidized exhibitions.
