[FY R8 Only] Komagane City SME Equipment Investment Support Subsidy

①Overview: Komagane City (Nagano) operates this FY R8-only subsidy to support SME equipment investment for productivity improvements, energy-cost reduction, automation/labor-saving, and energy savings, aiming to revitalize the local economy and strengthen SMEs' management base. ②Eligible Applicants: SMEs (legal entities or sole proprietors) per the SME Basic Act Article 2, meeting industry-specific capital or employee thresholds (manufacturing/construction/transport/other: ≤¥300M or ≤300 employees; wholesale: ≤¥100M or ≤100; service: ≤¥50M or ≤100; retail: ≤¥50M or ≤50). Deemed-large companies excluded. Companies headquartered outside Komagane are eligible if investing at a Komagane facility. Sole proprietors must have resident registration in Komagane. New founders not eligible — applicants must have been operating ≥1 year in Komagane. Must not receive other Nagano Prefecture or similar grants for the same expenses. ③Eligible Expenses & Content: (1) equipment purchase, (2) installation/introduction, (3) technical support, (4) removal/disposal (manifest required at achievement report). Eligible categories: 'machinery and equipment,' 'tools and fixtures,' 'tools,' 'software,' 'telecommunication facility use rights.' 'Vehicles and transport' not eligible. Used items, simple equivalent replacements, PC/general-purpose equipment, repair are excluded. Energy-cost-reduction track excludes new installations — only updates of existing equipment yielding energy savings (lighting, A/C, ventilation, refrigeration, water heaters, heating equipment, building-attached equipment). Leases/rentals/subscriptions/maintenance are eligible only if newly contracted; building renovation/foundation work limited to 1/5 of eligible expenses. ④Subsidy Rate, Cap, Schedule, and Application Tips: Cap ¥1,000,000 with multiple applications allowed. If all expenses are procured from companies headquartered in Komagane, cap rises to ¥1,100,000. Total expenses under ¥100,000 (excluding tax) not eligible. Consumption tax excluded. Achievement report deadline: 26 February 2027 (Fri) — equipment installation and payment must be complete by then. Contracts and orders must be after grant decision; expenses incurred earlier are not eligible. Post-installation equipment must be operated for several months and its effect documented in the achievement report.
