Summary

The Fukushima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Center Technical Support Division (Technocom) provides support for small and medium-sized enterprises and other foreign applications in the福島県 year of Reiwa for the 8th year. The applicant is a group consisting of small and medium-sized companies, etc., headquartered in Fukushima Prefecture, and is required to request an application to a foreign patent office and cooperate with a domestic patent attorney, or to submit the same document directly to a local agent. In addition, it is necessary to cooperate with EBPM of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for five years after business completion. Applicant applications are already applied to the Japan Patent Office and will be applied to the foreign patent office within the scope of the subsidy. Priority claims based on the Paris Convention, PCT domestic migration, harg agreements, and Madrid Protocols are expected. Trademark registration applications may not necessarily require priority. The application period is from May 1st to June 30th, 2019. Auxiliary rate is less than one-half of subsidy expenses, up to 3 million yen per business, up to 1.5 million yen per application, utility model, design, and trademark 60 million yen, and 300,000 yen for flash control. Applicants are not eligible for the application fee to the Foreign Patent Office, local agent fee, domestic agent fee, and translation fee. Subs ent period will be submitted from the date of grant decision to January 29, 2019.
