Eligible applicants are real estate agents (licensed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism or prefectural governors) handling vacant or potentially vacant detached houses or condominiums in designated areas including the Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya metropolitan regions and surrounding zones. Support covers existing housing condition surveys (5 yen/unit), renovation design proposals (3 yen/unit), and repair works (5 yen/location, maximum 15 yen/unit), with total assistance up to 23 yen per unit.
