Summary

1) Overview: Tokyo Chuo City offers SMEs partial subsidies for costs incurred when participating in domestic face-to-face exhibitions or online exhibitions for market development purposes. This is the Chuo City SME Sales Channel Expansion Support Subsidy program for the first half of FY2026. 2) Eligible Applicants: SMEs as defined in Article 2 of the SME Basic Act, with corporate headquarters registered in Chuo City (or main office for sole proprietors), operating in the ward for at least one year. Applicants must not have arrears in corporate enterprise/resident taxes, must not engage in adult entertainment businesses, must not be deemed-large enterprises, must not receive duplicate subsidies of the same kind, and must have received this subsidy less than 3 times cumulatively since FY2016. Commerce/industry organizations meeting equivalent conditions are also eligible. 3) Eligible Expenses and Coverage: Eligible costs include venue/booth fees (kommari), exhibition decoration costs, transportation costs for exhibits, and exhibition fees for internet-based exhibitions. Excluded items are durable equipment (tables, panels, etc.), self-transport gasoline/toll/rental/public transport fees, costs paid before grant decision date (excluding venue fees), intermediary fees, and consumption tax. 4) Rate, Cap, Schedule, Key Points: Subsidy rate is two-thirds of eligible expenses, capped at JPY 300,000 (rounded down to nearest thousand). Limited to once per fiscal year, max 3 times cumulatively. First-half application period: April 1 to August 31, 2026; eligible exhibitions held April 15 to September 30, 2026. Second-half opens September 1, 2026. Applications must be submitted via the LoGo electronic form at least one month before the exhibition. First-come-first-served until budget is exhausted.
