Chino City Order Receipt and Sales Channel Development Support Subsidy

(1) Overview: Chino City (Nagano) subsidizes part of the cost for local SMEs and SME groups to join trade shows/exhibitions for order and sales-channel development (Notification No. 91; latest amend. No. 97/2025). In force through 31 Mar 2027; first-come within annual budget. (2) Eligible Applicants: SMEs per SME Basic Act Art. 2(1) with main office in Chino City whose main business is JSIC group E (Manufacturing), G/39 (Information Services), I/56-61 (retail), or M/76-77 (restaurants, takeaway/delivery food). Groups of 4+ SMEs with city secretariat (>=1/2 city-based members) qualify. Excluded: large firms, municipal tax delinquents/non-filers, religious/school corps, NPOs, associations, organized crime, and recipients of similar national/prefectural grants. (3) Eligible Expenses: Booth rental, booth decoration, exhibit transport-in/out (carrier fees, or 1 round-trip expressway tolls for own transport), and other direct costs like pamphlet printing. Two-staff economy travel is eligible only for overseas exhibitions. Excluded: prototyping/manufacturing/purchase, gas, parking, excess pamphlets, transfer fees, consumption tax. (4) Rate/Ceiling/Schedule: Up to 1/2 of eligible costs (2/3 for information services). Caps: domestic JPY 200k (2nd 100k), overseas 400k (2nd 200k), groups 400k (2nd 200k), online 10/10 at 100k/business. Max two grants per applicant/group per FY; sub-1,000 yen truncated. Apply >=2 weeks before event with Forms 1-3, event materials, recent municipal tax certificate. Submit Form 7 results report (+receipts, 3 photos, Form 8 claim) within 30 days of completion or by FY-end, whichever is earlier.
