Summary

① Overview: Tokyo supports business-use EV/PHEV charging, transformers, remote energy management, preparatory conduit work and related infrastructure, plus V2B bidirectional charging and energy management for business buildings. Both public and restricted-use installations are covered. ② Applicants: Corporations and sole proprietors owning the equipment may apply. National/local governments, tax delinquents, sanctioned or criminally penalized parties and organized-crime affiliates are excluded. Equipment must be installed in Tokyo, new, nationally approved and not primarily for building residents. V2B requires at least as many EVs as V2B units. ③ Funding: Eligible costs include equipment and installation, qualifying transformers, V2B and remote-control EMS, connected chargers, conduit, removal and mechanical-parking pallet upgrades. Charging awards use equipment-specific ceilings net of national subsidy; battery-equipped high-power chargers may reach JPY 20 million. V2B support varies by unit count using 1/2, 3/4 or full-cost ceilings. ④ Schedule: FY2026 submissions close March 31, 2027 at 17:00. With national subsidy, apply after its amount is finalized and within one year after completion; without it, apply before ordering or construction and start only after Tokyo's award. Public installations must be openly accessible and properly signed.
