Bungo-ohno City SME Productivity Improvement Equipment Introduction Subsidy

(1) Overview: Bungo-ohno City (Oita Pref.) helps SMEs hit by rising prices introduce IoT, robots, software and systems to raise per-worker value added. Per City Notification No.42 (March 9 2026, effective April 1 2026). (2) Eligible: individual proprietors with offices in the city or corporations HQ'd there qualifying as SMEs/small-scale firms under the SME Basic Act, or as business cooperatives, federations, enterprise cooperatives or cooperative associations. Excluded: deemed-large firms (>=1/2 by one large firm, >=2/3 by multiple, or >=1/2 of officers from large firms), tax delinquents, adult-entertainment, political/religious bodies, bankruptcy/rehab/liquidation applicants, organized-crime affiliates. (3) Expenses: (a) machinery/equipment, (b) software/cloud services, (c) system development, (d) other mayor-approved projects. Pay by bank transfer. Excluded: items far from MSRP, general-purpose goods, vehicles, outsourced setup, used kit, disposal/lease/guarantee/consignment/design fees, transfer fees. Pure replacement of failed gear and projects taking other national/prefectural subsidies are ineligible. (4) Rate/cap/schedule: 2/3 of eligible expenses (rounded down to JPY 1,000), per-case cap JPY 2,000,000, floor JPY 500,000, one award per applicant per fiscal year. Submit Form 1 with business plan (Form 2), budget (Form 3), >=2 estimates, tax certificate, oath (Form 4), support-org confirmation (Form 5) by the mayor's deadline. No work before grant; finish by Feb 28; results report within 30 days or by March 5, whichever earlier. Keep books 5 years.
