Awara City supports local companies that rent housing and provide it to employees who move into the city from other municipalities. Eligible companies must operate in the city, lease housing in the city for employee use, and have no city-tax arrears. Eligible employees must move from another municipality, be recorded in Awara City's resident register, be employed by the company on the move-in date or within one month, and be registered as employment insurance insured persons. The subsidy is 10,000 yen per household per month for up to 36 months, for a maximum of 360,000 yen. Companies considering an application should consult the city by September and file the grant application in January of the base year.
