Aomori Prefecture SME LP Gas and Extra-High-Voltage Electricity Price Surge Countermeasure Support Grant (5th Round), funded by the prefecture's FY2025 February supplementary budget using the national Priority Support Local Allocation Tax Grant, eases the burden on Aomori SMEs facing surging energy prices, supporting users of LP gas or extra-high-voltage electricity excluded from national Electricity and Gas Fee Support. LP Gas: ¥38/m³ for Jan–Feb 2026 and ¥13/m³ for March at Aomori sites. Electricity: ¥1.6/kWh for Jan–Feb (monthly cap ¥320,000) and ¥0.6/kWh for March (cap ¥110,000). Sub-yen fractions rounded down. Applications: May 11 to July 10, 2026, business days 9:00–17:00 (closing postmark accepted). Submit by mail or in person to the chamber of commerce or Aomori Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry covering the principal office.
